Also featured is live footage of the Terrors at the Middle East Club, and a music video from Slaughter & the Dogs.

Episode 03: Dropkick Murphys
(original air date: April 3, 2002)

Celtic punk, Boston style! We had the opportunity to go to the Murphys annual St. Patty's Day bash on Lansdowne street, and man, we had a blast! You'll hear the guys comment about how they got involved in the band, why commercial radio sucks, and the origins of Spicy McHaggis. There's also tons of great footage from the whole weekend, including four live performances. This episode is definitely not to be missed!

(original air date: May 1, 2002)

Get your punk videos right here, I tell ya! Good stuff from the likes of Hepcat, Scared of Chaka, the Queers, the Generators, Anti-Seen, Thug Murder and River City Rebels. Live footage is included from the Met Cafe and the Avalon during St. Patty's Day weekend.

Episode 07: More Punk Videos
(original air date: August 7, 2002)

Our latest round of music videos includes songs from the Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion, Sick of It All, and Millencolin. A definite must-see for everyone who's sick of MTV's complete LACK of music videos.

Episode 08: Lost City Angels
(original air date: September 4, 2002)

Earlier this summer we had the opportunity to catch up with one of Boston's fastest rising punk sensations - the Lost City Angels. Having recently signed with Nitro Records and poised to release their new self-titled full-length album in September, the Angels had a lot to say about how they got started, the songs they write, and the close, personal tragedy that helped to shape one of their strongest tracks.

Episode 09: Youth Brigade
(original air date: October 9, 2002)

One of the featured artists in our first episode, Youth Brigade came to Boston earlier this summer and sat down with The Life We Lead for a little one-on-one. Shawn Stern offers his comments on what it's like to own a record label, working with his brothers, and how existential writers influenced him in punk rock. Live footage included from their performance at the International Community Church in Allston.

Episode 10: The Year in Review 2002
(original air date: December 4, 2002)

Rather than review all the bands who've already been on the show, we decided to feature some bands who HAVEN'T been on, including The Skels (ok they were on the Pilot), The Toasters, Sinners & Saints (yeah, they had a clip on the show too), Sixer, Kings of Nuthin', and a very rare Shods performance. Also included is a music video from New York's The Exit.

Episode 11: The Street Dogs
(original air date: January 8, 2003)

When singer Mike McColgan left the Dropkicks it was a sad day for punk rock. Now he's back with a brand new band and they are incredible! Aggressive street rock style with elements of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, DKM and more! We were invited to film the guys when they played the Bosstones' annual Hometown Throwdown and it was a show to remember!

Episode 12: The Skels
(original air date: February 5, 2003)

Back in 1995 before anyone had ever heard of Flogging Molly or Big Bad Bollocks, there was a lone Jersey quintet who started making noise with banjos, mandolins and tin whistles. They were born in the bowels of bars and dubbed themselves The Skels. Today, they are a force to reckoned with, and we have 'em caught on tape. They performed live at Axis Niteclub where we interviewed them and taped their set, and it was definitely a night to remember. You owe it to yourself to check this episode out!

Episode 13: Kings of Nuthin'
(original air date: March 5, 2003)

What do you get when you combine old school R&B with new school punk & rockabilly? A fuckin' great band, that's what! The Kings of Nuthin' are rapidly becoming a Boston institution and we got 'em right here on the show. See death-defying acts of pyrotechnics! Hear bone-chilling tales of threats of violence for record deals! Watch as the Kings turn the Boston rock scene on its ear with their incredible, indefinable sound!

Stray Bullets, you may or may not know, are a ska-punk type band that have quickly gained a loyal following after only a year of playing together. The Bluebloods have been around a bit longer, going on four years, but are starting to create a buzz in the local punk community. Both were filmed live at the Middle East in this double-header punk extravanganza!

Episode 16: Confront
(original air date: July 2, 2003)

A Boston-based punk trio, Confront has been on the scene since 1999, and their experience shows! Having developed a hardcore following in South Boston, their popularity is now spreading to the rest of the city. Check out this episode to find out why!

Episode 17: Darkbuster
(original air date: August 6, 2003)

Back from the Dead! Boston's delinquent sons of Rock & Roll have resurrected the band for a select few engagements, the first of which was taped for the show. Talk about hilarious antics! Beer-throwing, trash-talking, and the Slap Heard Round The World - check it out for yourself here!

Episode 18: The Bouncing Souls
(air date: December 3, 2003)

New Jersey seems to be full of those "best-kept-secret" type bands: The Skels, The Wretched Ones, Niblick Henbane, and the Bouncing Souls. Who knew 15 years ago that four kids from the 'hood would turn into the punk sensation they are today? I've had the opportunity not only to interview the band and film them, but also to see interviews with them from about 10 years ago, and their punk ethics have not changed one iota! See what all the fuss is about in this episode!
